If your vehicle is 3 years or older you are required by law to have an annual MOT, the Ministry of Transport test. The purpose of the MOT test is to ensure the vehicle is of a roadworthy condition.
Our engineers carry out a full inspection and comprehensive checks on the vehicle to DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) standards, including the interior, exterior, under the bonnet and under the vehicle. The result of each check is recorded, and if the vehicle passes a VT20 pass certificate is issued.
If the vehicle fails, we can carry out the repairs to the required standard, with a free retest.
You must have your vehicle examined every 12 months. Without a current MOT certificate you will be unable to lawfully drive your vehicle or renew your road fund licence, and your car cannot lawfully be taxed or covered by insurance.
A thorough check of the interior, exterior, under the bonnet and underside of your vehicle.
If your car fails, we carry out the repairs and retest it free of charge.
Reserve your slot up to 28 days early so your MOT never lapses and your tax stays valid.
Call the workshop and we will get your car booked in for its MOT at a time that suits you.
